Job: Male disabled actor for short film
About the job:
We are looking for one additional male actor to join the fabulous cast for the comedic short film “Jigaboo”, written and directed by Kevin Muendo. This is a non-union, independent short film.
The film is a brief snapshot of the dating life of a black man at Uni, and his struggles with thinking that he is only a fetish. Conflicted, after a one night stand Miles, an upscale but "Oreo" black boy must wrestle with the rumours that his white date's last boyfriend was also black, as well as his own identity to quell his paranoid anxiety that he is merely a fetish.
NB: COVID guidelines will be followed during filming
About the participant:
We are looking for a white, male, diaabled actor aged 18-30.
The participant will be playing the role of a wheelchair-bound, white supremacist who comes across a confrontation between two ‘skinheads’ and two black men in a pub, leading to an amusing three-way argument over who has the right to be part of the “white pride” organisation.
Shooting will take place on 14th September from 9am-4pm.
This is not a payed job, but expenses will be covered.
Potential for full payment depending on how future funding meetings go.
