About the job:
We are looking for a female actor for the revolutionary feature film “Only Love Matters” by the award-winning director Kamran Qureshi. This film forms part of his doctoral research.
The main character, Stef, is the adopted daughter of Sam Davidson, an intersex-woman and her partner Darren. At school, Stef is subjected to constant bullying and harassment due to Sam’s unique biological gender and runs away from home to work at a horse stable. Soon after, she encounters a mysterious young man named Ryan and together they form a strong bond. To Stef’s surprise, he may just be the one to reunite her with her estranged mother.
“Only Love Matters” is the first-ever feature film in cinema history to have lead intersex characters in a British setting. It is a fictional romantic dramedy that follows the lives of two women who are intrinsically linked.
All the major film festivals including Oscar SAA will be targeted.
About the participant:
We are looking for a London based female actress aged 18-28, to play the role of the main character, Stef.
The participant must be Caucasian.
Horse riding knowledge is an added advantage.
The film is scheduled for principal photography on Monday, 26th October and throughout November. Please apply for more information.
